Directions to the Howe Library
Directions from I-91, Exit 13
Exit from I-91 and make the appropriate turn towards New Hampshire - a right turn at the light if coming North on I-91, a left turn if coming South on I-91. Go straight across the Ledyard Bridge into New Hampshire, and go up the hill to the first light. Turn right, go through one traffic light, and turn left at the second light (E. South St.). Go until you reach a stop sign. Howe Library is in front of you, on the right side. Turn right, and then a quick left into the parking lot. The entrance is to the right of the building.Directions from I-89, Exit 18
Exit from I-89 onto NH 120, and head towards Hanover - a left turn if coming South on I-89, a right turn if coming North on I-89. Follow NH 120 north for about 5 miles until you reach a three way intersection (a Y). This is also the fifth traffic light you will have gone through since leaving the intersection of I-89 and 120. The Dartmouth Co-op is on your right. Go left at the intersection, past the high school, and turn left at the fourth road on your left (at the Ben and Jerry's). Drive to the first stop sign, and Howe Library is in front of you on the left. Go straight through the stop sign, and then a quick left into the parking lot. The entrance is to the right of the building.Directions from NH 10
(i.e. Lyme and/or Orford)
Go south on NH 10 (Lyme Rd.) until you get to the Dartmouth Green,
where you will be forced to go right at the Dartmouth Library. Turn left
at the yield sign, and go straight through the traffic light. Turn left
at the second traffic light (E. South St.), and go until you reach a stop
sign. Howe Library is in front of you, on the right side. Turn right, and
then a quick left into the parking lot. The entrance is to the right of
the building.
Directions from 12A
(i.e. West Lebanon and/or Plainfield)
Head north to West Lebanon,
turn left onto US 4/NH 10, and then follow NH 10 (Dartmouth College Rd)
north to Hanover. Take a right at the first light (E. South St.), go to
the first stop sign, and Howe Library is in front of you, on the right
side. Turn right, and then a quick left into the parking lot. The entrance
is to the right of the building.
