Field Trips - 2007

Chapter activities are a great way to learn more about birding and to connect with like-minded people. Beginners are always welcome*.

We suggest that you sign up with the trip leader before the field trip in case there is any change of plans due to weather or emergencies.

*While we have field trips of all types, the majority of our trips involve watching birds in some way. Birdwatching is very fun, and can be addictive. It can also be difficult in the beginning, so we have designed some of our field trips to be geared more towards beginning birdwatchers.

This does NOT mean that beginners are not welcome on all of our trips - we welcome ALL participants, regardless of skill level or interest. It simply means that we think that beginners are more likely to have FUN on these trips! Similarly, "experts" are always welcome as well, as some of our "beginner" trips are more likely to have lots of birds than our regular trips.
